Raees Tikly was Hoërskool Ermelo’s top achiever. He obtained nine distinctions with an average of 92,6%:

Afrikaans FAL: 92%, English HL: 87%, Mathematics: 93%, Additional Mathematics: 85%, Life Orientation: 97%, Accounting: 93%, Business Studies: 94%, Life Science: 91% and Physical Science: Raees was an excellent learner with a wonderful drive to achieve his dream. In 2024 he will be studying medicine at the University of Stellenbosch. EHS is very proud of Raees.
