Alleged ballot box burning near Ermelo under investigation

On Sunday, local police responded to allegations of Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) ballot boxes being burned near the N2 highway, just a few kilometres outside of Ermelo. The incident was brought to the local uMkhonto we Sizwe (MK) Party's attention, which reported receiving a tip-off about the potential destruction of the ballot boxes.
