A 41-year-old woman was arrested in Ermelo on Sunday, January 5th, 2025, for possession of drugs, following a successful operation by the police.

Her arrest came after the multidisciplinary teams of Operation Vala Umgodi (a multidisciplinary initiative aimed at combating criminal activities) received intelligence of a house suspected to be a hub for drug dealing and other illicit activities. Reports pointed to a 41-year-old female, suspected to be the primary operator behind these activities.
