A serious collision involving a truck and a train has occurred on the R36 route between Carolina and Breyten in Mpumalanga.

Authorities have confirmed that the road is closed until further notice due to the obstruction. A diversion is in place, and motorists are advised to make use of alternative routes via Chrissiesmeer, Warburton, or Carolina.
