The South African Police Service (SAPS) has issued a stern reminder to the public: Possession of stolen goods is a criminal offence, and both thieves and those who knowingly buy such goods will face prosecution.


As part of the ongoing effort to curb crime and disrupt the illegal trade of stolen property, SAPS is calling on all South Africans to assist in identifying and reporting suspicious activities—especially involving second-hand goods dealers and recyclers.
