On Tuesday, the Merino Mall developers, Moolman Group, held a sod-turning ceremony at the construction site of the highly anticipated Merino Mall. Representatives of the Msukaligwa Local Municipality, Ermelo SAPS, Distriks Landbou Unie and the Moolman Group attended this ceremony. Development Director of the Moolman Group, Pieter Beyers, opened the ceremony and said the Moolman group is excited that the project has finally kicked-off. It has been eight-year since the launch of the first town planning application for this development. "We feel almost like a marathon runner that has come to the end line and where we can now see things are moving forward and our dream of being realised," said Beyers.
