In September, this centre opened its doors for people in need that live on the street. However, because some of the facilities were still under construction, they postponed the official opening to 15 October. During 2020's hard lockdown, the CMR was involved with other government stakeholders in a project where they helped homeless people at the temporary shelter set up at the Sport Inn. After seven months, the project stopped, but the need for the homeless didn't stop.
