On Tuesday, in the early hours of the morning, the same transformer was on fire again. According to a source, this time, the cause reportedly were thieves that tried to cut open the transformer to steal copper cores inside the transformer. The thieves allegedly were disrupted when the transformer caught fire and fled the scene empty-handed.

Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue responded to the fire and extinguished the fire.
