At the time of publication, SAPS members are currently on the scene to investigate the incident. Preliminary reports indicate that one robber was shot and found deceased in the store. Another robber was found outside at the back of the Crossings Centre and reportedly also sustained a gunshot wound. The suspect was treated on the scene by Provincial EMS and transported to hospital. 

At least three other suspects reportedly fled the scene in a silver Polo, and Police are searching for the remaining suspects.
