Ward 24 councillor, Chris Whittaker said that the reason why residents are experiencing low or no water pressure is due to the unplanned electricity outage in New Park.

"This is not due to loadshedding. The power outage also affects Newton Reservoir and water is not being pumped at this stage. 

"The electricians are aware of the issue and working to restore power," Whittaker said.
