Ex Kimberley player in SA hockey team

Former Kimberley hockey player Aiden Tun, has been included in the South African Hockey Indoor team in the sixth World Cup, played in Pretoria from Sunday until Saturday.
South Africa are one of 12 men’s teams geared up to take on the challenge of climbing to the summit of the showpiece event. The tournament also features 12 women’s teams concurrently.
The men’s team will be competing in their fifth World Cup, having missed only the 2011 event.
Tun is one of several talented young players recruited by the late Alastair Fredeicks to Beaulieu College.
The 21-year old Tun has 20 caps for his country and is at Stellenbosch University.
