Snow delayed the start of the Under-16 and Under-18 Girls Rugby Week held at Jeppe High School in Johannesburg last week.

When the tournament did get underway, Griquas tried gamely, but could not secure victory in any of their matches.

In the opening fixture, the Under-16 girls went down to the Sharks 12-24.

The Under-18 girls did not fare much better and lost 12-67 to Eastern Province.
