A total number of 202 members of the South African Police Service (SAPS) in Limpopo recently received promotions.

According to police, the promotions include Station Commanders, Provincial Commanders, Section and Line managers from ranks of Warrant to Colonels. The Public Service Act personnel were also promoted as part of the effort to bolster service delivery.

Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, Limpopo Provincial Police spokesperson revealed that the members will be serving at various components throughout the province.

Ledwaba indicated that the changes in the ranks, promotions or other measures are aimed at efficiency and effectiveness of the SAPS in Limpopo Province.
