Following the signing of the 2nd Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with municipalities in the previous month, Roads Agency Limpopo (RAL) has held an implementation planning session on 04 December 2023 bringing together stakeholders who have an active role in the implementation of the programme.

The appointed contractors were apprised of the effectiveness of the pilot project in Mogalakwena and the first MoA which has garnered positive feedback from benefitting communities. They were further urged to prioritise quality consistent with the first implementation of the programme.

Joining the RAL team was technical directors from municipalities who will lead the identification of areas needing the RAL-Municipal Routine Road Maintenance Programme working hand in hand with RAL Project Managers and contractors.
