According to the Associated Press, eight children and one adult have tragically lost their lives after consuming sea turtle meat on Pemba Island in the Zanzibar archipelago. Additionally, 78 individuals have been hospitalised in the aftermath of this devastating incident, as reported by authorities on Saturday, 9 March 2024.
