Starting the new year, we all have new goals and ideas of how to become new and improved, with the constant threat of Covid in our midst, staying positive and healthy has never been more important. A healthy body not only benefits our ability to do more. It makes us feel great about ourselves, any exercise, diet or lifestyle change that positively affects your body has a positive effect on your mind. Looking and feeling good is always the goal we aspire to feel successful, and there has never been a better time to up our game and focus on becoming healthy. Small steps make the biggest progress when you stick to them. Drastic overnight changes to our lifestyle or diet are not necessarily sustainable and usually lead to us feeling deprived or punished. Start by making small changes. Cut out fast foods and sugar—two of the main causes of weight gain, obesity, inflammation and disease. Once you have these habits under your belt, try introducing more whole foods and less processed.
