SA stays on Alert Level 4 (some adjustments)
On Sunday, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that South Africa would remain on Alert Level 4 because of the "massive surge" of COVID-19 infections and the Delta variant. South Africa will remain on Alert Level 4 until 25 July 2021. There are, however, a few adjustments to the previous Alert Level 4.

Adjustments:
﹒Restaurants and other eateries are allowed to operate again while observing strict health protocols. (no more than 50 people or 50% of capacity if the establishment is small)
﹒Gyms and fitness centres may operate again
﹒Agricultrual livestock and game options will be allowed subject to conditions outline in the regulations.
﹒Schools: All public and private schools will remain close until 26 July 2021.
